HiQPdf allows you to control the headers and footers of the generated PDF document. You can add in header and footer any valid HTML markup and elements with special CSS class name to generate page numbering and other dynamic content.
Below are enumerated the options controlling the creation of the headers and footers in the generated PDF document.
Using this option you can enable or disable the header and footer in the generated PDF document. The property you can set in your code to control this option is PdfDocumentControlDisplayHeaderFooter. An object of PdfDocumentControl type is exposed by the HtmlToPdfDocument property
The PDF document can have different templates for header and footer. The PDF document header and footer templates contains valid HTML markup with following classes used to inject values:
date: Formatted print date
title: Document title
url: Document location
pageNumber: Current page number
totalPages: Total pages in the document.
If the HTML is null or empty a default template will be used. The properties you can set in your code to control the header and footer templates are PdfDocumentControlHeaderTemplate and PdfDocumentControlFooterTemplate. An object of PdfDocumentControl type is exposed by the HtmlToPdfDocument property
